Welcome

Hi everyone! I'm glad you've decided to sit a spell on my little couch here. My name's Kara and I have big dreams of someday being a writer. I guess it all started when I was little. I was always making up stories with my friends in grade school. As I got older and discovered books by R.L. Stien and Christopher Pike, I started trying my own hand at writing novel-length stories. I never realized how difficult and amazing it would be to try and accomplish this feat. And while I don't have an entire book finished, I've got oodles of poems and partially written works saved on numerous computers.

The purpose of this little blog is for me to post excerpts and poems. Mostly for feedback from people like YOU that want to read it. And also for the off-chance that someone will come across this page and want to make me rich and famous. Not really, but we all have a secret little wish like that, don't we? So what's your wish? What's your dream?
